I have no idea how many there are, or where, but I took the tour of the GM plant in Arlington, TX, when they had their grand opening in 1954, and it's still operating.

<font color="blue">Actually it's the last auto plant west of the Rockies. Lot of plants west of the Mississippi. </font>
