My local dealer dropped off a 1528 FEL, gear drive with 6' Woods landscape rake for me to demo and I really liked it. a lot. My son and I spent a few hours raking the road and filling in a some low spots, and I was impressed with the results. I called up the salesman later, talked price, and he pretty much gave me a deal I found hard to turn down. So I took a ride down to the dealer, put down a deposit and we'll finalize the deal Monday after the paperwork is complete.
I finally got one.

Congrats on your tractor. very impressive little tractors, comfortable to ride and operate. I love my little 1428, use it to mow the lawn, load stoves, scrape the driveway and even worked up a baseball field with it this summer.

Congratulations. I have 12 hours seat time on my 1528 and loved every minute. It is a great tractor. Looking to buy a Parts and Service Manual. The owners manual seems a bit sparse. If you negotiate the dealer into providing one, you will appreciate the reading material for a long time.

I have the 1528 grear also, 164 hrs.seat time. I love mine, I'm sure you'll have fun with yours. don't have the rake but have the brush hog, tiller,box blade, angle blade, and 16' trailer. and making some good money too.
I'm thinking about winter now and getting either a rear blade or mounting a snowplow onto the bucket to plow my road which really amounts to a long gravel driveway. Rear blade is more useful overall, but I'm not sure if I'd like plowing backwards.
