Watching the video it doesn't seem to be a problem but how do you control which direction the tree falls? I don't see a grapple hold on to or anything above the shear to deflect the tree away from the machine. I know there is the ROPS and a cage to protect the operator on a skid steer but still do you want the 40 footer leaning over on the cab when you're in it? Videos like this which are essentially a collection of short clips can be misleading in that they can trim/splice footage to only show what they want. You see the shear cut the tree at the ground but you get to see much after that. Yes, you see the tree fall to the ground but how many trees were sheared off to get those dozen or so shots where the tree fell in the direction which presents the product in the best possible light?
