I bought the BXpanded work lights and I can't find the connectors that are suppose to be behind the left tail light on the bx23. I opened up the conduit that the wires are in and as far as my fingers can go I can't find the connectors. I'm thinking they are in the harness where the 2 wires for the taillights and the 4 wires for the blinkers and flashers are. I can't imagine where else they can be without taking off the fenders. I've heard they are hard to find, but this is frustrating.
Any help?
Thanks

On my 1850, mine connection was just to the left of the top link connection.

The connection is as pictured on my BX 2360, they maybe taped. so they should be in the same location. good luck.

I posted about this before. I am hoping your BX23 is exactly same as BX24. What you do is follow wire loom from tailight until it meets the main harness where it forms a Y. You will need to dig in there and root around all the wiring. Mine was taped over with black eletrical tape in a way that you would have never guessed its there unless you start removing the tape in the Y around of wire harness. When I was looking for the wire before, posts here said the wire connections were under the seat . The BX24 and up seems to be directly in backlike in my pic.

I found it. They were taped almost underneath the fuel tank. I was looking by the left rear tailight. The were a couple of "Y" intersections and I followed the wrong one. Thanks for the replies

There should have been an instruction sheet with the lights describing the location of the connectors. My apologies if the sheet was omitted.

The sheet was there but for some reason I thought it was behind the tail light. I saw a "Y" connector and had myself convinced it was in that area. The lights installed as you said and they are great. I've got the machine set up for the coming winter and all we need is snow. I really like your spring attachment system for the lights.

Ok I found the power supply for the rear work lights but while making some of the connections i managed to short out the wires and blow a fuse, no big deal right. Well it wasn't until I tried to start the tractor and found that the headlight fuse and the fuse for the fuel pump are one and the same. So without a new fuse the tractor wouldn't start(neat trick). Now my question is "What kind of Moron would put the lights and the fuel pump on the same circuit?" :confused3:

After wondering how to install a strobe on the ROPS of my BX24, I stumbled upon this thread ... WITH MUCH THANKS.

Found the wires as directed, in the described location, broke the rules and drilled 2 - 1/2 inch holes for auxiliary lights, and 2 - 1/8 inch holes for self taping screws for the strobe light. Installed a switch for aux-lights and have the strobe set up to flash as soon as the ignition switch is on.

Now, I don't blind myself with the headlights reflecting from the polished bottom of the FEL and I feel confident that I can be seen above the snowbanks.

Thanks from snow covered and geeeeeeeeeeeeez, its getting dark really early in Manitoba.
