My neighbors think I am weird because I can't seem to get out of it but that's only because I am catching up on so much farm work that has fallen behind thanks to our old MM that is falling apart. That poor old tractor seems to break almost every time I use it so I have been taking it easy on it for the last couple years.
I love this new one though. I just finished getting about 50 acres plowed and planted with winter wheat and I also cut one of our bermuda pastures on Friday and plan to bale it tonight. It's worked flawlessly and with the 4 wheel drive and cab I no longer have to stop for anything. I don't know how I ever did all this work without a real tractor.
I've only had it a little over a week and already have to do it's 50 hour service. I enjoy working on tractors but it's even better when it's new.

Congratulations,
I have been looking at TD75D for almost a year and hopefully will go and get it in next few weeks. sounds like me and you were in same situation. I have several old tractors that are either too small or cant be worked like they once were without constant repairs. always makes me glad when I here of someone finally getting tractor they have been needing.

I hadn't even thought about posting pictures. I was too hung up on getting my hay in. Now it's delayed another day it looks like. I hooked up the baler to the new tractor last night because I thought the hay was dry enough but I only checked one row and the rest wasn't ready yet. I had to stop in the middle of the row I did and open back up all those bales to dry more. What a pain.
Now there is a chance of rain for today so please don't anyone wash their cars today!!!!!

This tractor ran the baler perfectly BTW. It bumps it mildly back and forth but not near as bad as the 4 star and not quite as bad as the neighbors big JD. The best thing is I can close the windows and crank up the ac and I can't hear much of the baler over the engine. It's probably the best sealed cab I have ever been in on this tractor. I was wondering if ballasting the tires would help the flywheel bump from the baler a little. I'm hesitant to do it now because I'd have to use the caustic stuff. I always save the antifreeze I drain from all the engines here in a barrel but I only have enough to do one tire on this tractor. That stuff won't rust the rims at least.

Here's a pic of my new one:

Here's what it is replacing.

I swear I don't know how I got anything done before. This was a good old tractor in it's day but now it just can't be relied upon. If it were easy to get parts for it would be one thing but no new parts have been made for minnies in quite some time.

We are in West Texas now, just outside Lubbock. It is very flat around here. We're sitting on a 3500 foot tall plateau. I'm from West Tennessee and after moving all over the world with the Navy and Army for 15 years we decided to settle here. It's nice but the weather isn't so nice all the time. I swear it reminds me of Iraq too much. Sand storms, Hail the size of baseballs and always either too much or not enough rain.
At least here we don't worry much about floods like near Memphis or 2 feet of snow keeping the animals from grazing. We get a lot of snow but it's almost always gone in a day.

I've had the 4 star for about 5 years now. It came with this farm. It's been on the property since it was new though. It's definitely seen better days. The local garage that works on tractors has always maintained it and it took me a month to undue most of the jury rigs they did to it. I have overhauled a couple of the neighbors tractors too that that place worked on and made worse. The last one I reworked was at the shop for 8 months and they couldn't figure out why the hydraulics wouldn't work. It helps a lot using the proper size o-rings instead of orange silicone and maybe using hydraulic oil instead of water would have been nice too. If I didn't have so much military work right now I'd open my own tractor shop.

BTW the old tractor and the new one just don't seem to be in the same league. ;)

I've been wondering about that whole economy thing too. I've worked on a lot of tractors in my life, I worked at a case, Kubota, MF and international dealer for a few years when I retired from the service and I really don't think these qualify as economy. A BX 22 Kubota maybe or one of the big riding mowers with 3 point hitches but this is so far above that it's unreal. To me, When it has radial ag tires, turbo diesel and can pull a hay baler it's beyond the economy league. I'm just glad it didn't cost a fortune!!! I've always liked NH products but after the run around I got for basically the same tractor except with a red paint job at the CIH dealer I don't think I'll ever go red again unless it's an antique. I have a super M I'm working on restoring now. I need to unstick one more cylinder liner and find the parts to convert it to gas and I'll be ready to start going back together with it.
