A couple of weeks ago my wife saw a Rhino 660 on TV and said she wanted one. Until then, the thought of owning a utility 4X4 never crossed my mind. I started shopping on the net and found that the Arctic Cat Prowler XT 650 looked superior to the Rhino. Our dealer sells both brands so we stopped in for a look. Rhino $9100. & Prowler $9400. What a difference! The Prowler won hands down. I called all the the dealers in a 100 mile radius and no one else had any. The were not expecting any until July or August and those were already sold. They all said they sell at retail plus $500. setup charge plus freight. My local dealer had one and sold it to us for $9400. plus tax. No freight or setup charge! We will pick it Friday. I think we will have lots of fun with this new toy. Anyone here have a Prowler? If so, how do you like it so far?

Hope your Prowler treats you well.I am considering both the Rhino and the Ranger. There have been some issues with the Prowler to put it nicely.I can give you some links to side by side forums that go into detail.Good luck and hope your machine treats you good.

After a week of research I became aware of some of the issues with the Prowler, such as the recall on the brakes. It also has a Suzuki based motor wich is tried and true. In my opinion the Rhino finished in second place. I have owned Arctic Cat sleds and never had any problems. If everyone liked the same thing, there would only be one brand.
