Well it's been long road to get my tractor going again.
Here's a list of costs for the route I took, don't know if it was the best or cheapest just the way I went.

$315 for "good" used motor on e-bay
$270 to ship motor half way across the states
$250 for parts from Hoye tractor parts
$122 to local machine shop to rebuild the head
$957 total

The tractor does run sweet now! I got about 4 hours of seat time breaking in the motor.

Bladed the driveway, leveled some land in prep for lawn.

I understand it was painful, but think of all you learned in the process.:D Bet you were glad to hear that classic yammer hammer!! :) Best of luck now with your tractor.
