With all the threads about R4/ag/turf tires, right now as wet as it is around me I won't be tilling for another month; and that's only if it's stops raining this week . So maybe instead of the R4's I wound up with I should be looking for a set of floatation tires.........

Same here, I have four or five pond levees and some roads to repair and right now the only thing that will get to them is my ATV.

I should have mentioned above, I have seen some of the flooding (Poplar Bluff MO seems to be especially hard hit) on the news, and I realize that there are many areas much worse off than I. My thoughts and prayers go to those who are being ravaged by these spring storms....as well as those who could actually use them in their drought (like western TX).

Agreed, Arkansas has had some really deadly storms. Two of my grand daughters live in Poplar Bluff and had to evacuate, but so far no one over there has been injured.

At the rate we are going I'm going to call Barlows and see if they have an air boat with attached mower.

Well, I'm thinking about planting cactus over here in SE Texas. It's about the only thing that might survive the drought we have here. At least I haven't had to mow the grass...:mad:

If I remember correctly central Arkansas is pretty low anyway isn't it? My mom is from Newport, Arkansas.

Several roads, streets closed here in Evansville IN. Water about 14 ft deep in my back yard. It's getting much to close to my shop.

Yea, if you are east of hwy 67 or i40 then yes it's low. Right now, low or high doesn't matter, everything is completely saturated.

Man, that is getting close. We live in an elevated area at the beginning of the hilly part of our farm, so all the water passes by us, but our flatland farm is flooded with my brothers living on an island so to speak.

I need to make a trip back down there as I am sure it has really changed, use to go through a lot of swamp land down there, but I think some have been drained.

I saw where the southern states got hit really hard last night, really sad.
