I don't typically have any problem with mine. Yes, you have to double check that they're closed, but they've never failed on me. My dad's 036 has dumped gas on him more than once with the old style cap. I do like not needing a scrench to fuel up. I'm sure I'd like the old style too, that's what's on my Shindaiwa 488, just saying that it's not the end of the world. Won't be trading it in for a Husky because of them.![]()
No one _needs_ a scrench to to tighten a fuel/oil cap...
Applying a tool to those type caps is abuse of equipment.
