Hi all
In reading posts I get the idea it is likely to have problems like; clutch, pto or bolts and engines falling apart because not put together right. All in about 300 hours or less. Also, it seems maintance items like filters and of course parts must come from dealer. Gee, I remember when....an old Farmall seemed to run forever. I have an old Farmall C that set for 7 years. I put some oil in engine pistons, hand turned engine, let set couple days and put battery in it. Farmall fired up like it was run yesterday. I also have an International Lo Boy. That does give me lots of problems.
questions;
1. Are we just hearing the bad stuff and most is good. Having major trouble at 300 hours is like, in my opinion, having big trouble with car at 15,000 miles.
2. Is there anyplace on line that we could find parts at better price than regular dealer. At least filters, repair manuals etc. would help out if few $$ can be saved. Hey, even at same price, online might be more cost effective than driving 50 miles to a dealer.
Just observations.....Cheers....Coffeeman
