I have a tytan 504 (yes) and the PTO started slipping,

my question is the PTO hydraulic or clutch driven. the tractor drives fine and the clutch doesn"t slip.
is it a 2 stage clutch maybe? Any help would be appreciated

Did the tractor come with the tractor parts, engine, and operators manual.
Back when Mark Leonard was selling the earlier Rhino tractors they were supplied with the manuals which would show which type of pto drive setup the tractor has. In my 554s case it is a live 2 stage dry disc clutch set up. Who built the Tytan 504 it could be the same as the engine manufacturer which should be on the engine id plate.

i just checked the old Tytan site and it cites a two stage clutch for the 504- just a guess but looks like a standard dry disc set-up 504 Tytan Tractor | Tytan International Inc

It is possible that you just need to re-set the clearance on the pto clutch .
