I have some questions about the 2015

Has anyone run a 5' tiller on one.

Do they mow pretty well with a belly mower.

Do they seem under-powered for their weight to HP ratio.

How do they mow hills.

I want to keep my cost down and would like to stay with a smaller unit if possible.

I have an o5 2015hst with loader, backhoe and 60" rear finish mower.

( Do they mow pretty well with a belly mower. ) it sure works great with the RFM, I'm sure the MMM would do just as well.

( Do they seem under-powered for their weight to HP ratio. ) I've never felt it was under powered, I'm very happy with the power.

( How do they mow hills. ) I mow some pretty hilly ground and I leave the loader on all the time, I have the R4 tires and with the RFM it works great, I have had the issue of it wanting to slide on steep wet ground in 2wd but never had a problem in 4wd.

They are rated at 20HP, but that same Mitsu engine is rated at 23HP where ever else it is found and our dyno backs up that figure. For some reason it was rated at a conservative 20HP, maybe an EPA thing. I would not run a 5' tiller with it, a 4' would be best.

Dave, I think you're right about the HP thing with Mahindra. About 2 years ago there was a thread or two about the rated HP that Mahindra stated. A number of individuals/dealers posted that whatever, M said, add about 3-5 HP. This was confirmed in a number of cases where the tractor was put on the dyno. I remember that a 6000 (rated at 59hp/50PTO actually put out about 63 or 64 HP at the engine. BobG in VA
