god bless america & kubota's marketing ingenuity. the kubota salesman tells me that if i'm a member of Quail's Unlimited, i qualify for an immediate $200.00 off my tractor purchase . . . oh yeah, first i have to join for $30.00.
it certainly is a great country when you can get those dollars off and have a salesmanready and able to stoke the urge to burn cash and buy his tractor fire. . . . i have determined that i can only afford a BX1850(truthfully) and it appears to be somewhat of a buyers market with not much happening with big tickets. shrekbelly

It is a "straight through" discount. Doesn't cost the dealer unlike a negotiated discount.

It's a different ball game if it's in addition to a negotiated selling price/which i suspect it may well be.
Find out all the detals before making the call.

Why not join for 30 bucks if it will reduce your lay out on a $10000 negotiated price from $10000 to $9830?

I see the problem clearly .
Have run into it many times in my 30 + years in the housing business.
Many people just don't know a good deal when they see it.

Looks like a deal to me and its probably a little better than $170 because you do get a membership with your $30. I'm not an avid quail hunter but I'm all for it and if I could get a membership (which probably includes a magazine and other benefits including how to improve quail habitat.....with your tractor) then what the heck. Looks like a free $200 bucks to me.

Good for Kubota. Seems like they might actually be 'in touch' with their market base.

New Holland has had a tie in with the National Wild Turkey Federation for a short while now. I don't know if it gives you a discount or anything but they are helping each other with their promotions.

It is nice to see OEM's and wildlife organizations working together.
