I HIT A MILE STONE TODAY

One year ago this month I bought a new 2016 John Deere X-758 from Holland & Son a JD dealer in Ill .
It was 250 miles from my home to this dealer one way a fun little trip for my wife and I . Today mowing my grass I seen it turned over 100.4 hours I felt just a little sad my new tractor it a year old . In this year the tractor has been perfect in every way I runs better each time I use it .

At first I thought that you'd hit an actual milestone. We still have them sitting alongside the back-roads (and not so back-roads) of Tasmania, long after switching to kilometres. They're faded white stone or concrete pillars with the initial(s) of the next town + a number indicating the mile(s) to it. They're either chiselled (stone) or impressed (concrete).

No one ever 'nicks' them. They're just... there.

Well the nice thing about it is you should be able to reflect back on this many times in the future as you clock 200, 300, 600 and on. My x749 is seven years old with about 600 hours on it, just went through everything this weekend to have ready for mowing. None of the other cheap mowers ever made it this far and all of them were more trouble to maintain.
