The NGK cross reference plug for L7TC, is BPM7A but the Zenoah PDF calls for a resistor plug. Should I use the NGK BPMR7A resistor plug instead of the BPM7A?

OEM RCJ7Y so I would do BPMR7A.

Heck I put a champion in my clone VM 2511 over ngk. Just been having bad luck with them.

Wish I could find Denso to fit my smaller plug saws ope.

German made Bosch was best plug ever for ope imo. But long gone are German made.

Thank you for your response, I appreciate the information. I think I am going to keep it, the extra 1 pound in weight is a small compromise for a better air filter design and translucent fuel and chain oil tanks. Not sure what year the saw in your photos is, but they have changed a few things on their latest saw. The fuel tank assembly has a different shape and the break assembly cover is now a 2 piece design. View attachment 4182943View attachment 4182944View attachment 4182945View attachment 4182946

For the G2500 runners, I came across this while searching for a paint color match for the Mac 10-10 Automatic. ;-)

This was my Echo vs clone test. I've since gotten better at cutting with the clone - less chatter. I was talking with Scottie about that. I said I've learned a better touch with the clone - a bit more down pressure (not enough to stall). Scottie said reduces chatter by pushing down more nose first. I think we may be doing the same thing - just tilting the force a bit forward which acts like a shock absorber against the upward chatter.

I can attest to the reality that this little clown saw works just as well 45 feet up* a hemloc, hanging from my belt on a 4 foot rope tether, just as well as it does on the saw buck!

I did "reach the short end of my rope" trying for one more branch, but a quick flip of the tether cleared that.

Light as the saw is, cutting 20 or so limbs, with me supported by a linesman's belt and spikes is about all I can put together at one stretch. It was easy to know when it was time to spike down.

Lots of limb rounds for the evening fires on these autumn nights

Ground work went REAL FAST with that little fella!

* is that 45 feet AGL? ;-)
