What's different with the seat suspension? Can you provide more pics and P/N's? What did the seat swap set you back?
I have some really uneven areas that can really bounce me around, even at slow speeds. I've been using the seat belt just to keep me strapped down (less jarring).

Also, you guys with folding ROPS, either purchased or modified, I'd really like to see more pics on those too please.

Bill I am attaching a picture of the suspension.
The big improvement is that this one has springs & the entire seat can move up & down about 2 inches. My Dealer gave me the seat to make up for several problems with the way the 2210 was setup when it was delivered./forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif The seat was a leftover from an X series that was upgraded to a deluxe seat. The part numbers are. Seat AM9772, Suspension AM129773, 2 bumpers M146065.
I hope this helps.
Chris

I had to trim all my trees to the proper heighth after I did a huge wheelie with my B7100. Looking back I can't believe that I didn't break the front axle! My ability to judge clearance on the rops has become much better and I tend to err on the side of caution these days!!

Man you have one generous dealer. That does look like a much nicer seat suspension. I'll run the P/N's to get an idea on cost. Is it a standard option to upgrade the seat on an X series? Would it be likely the dealers would have these lying around?

Do you think a person could use the stock seat with the AM129773 suspension?

Just a quick rundown.
AM129773, the suspension is $100
AM129772, the seat is $99
M146065, the bumpers are $1.05 each
This is from JD Parts web site.

I will not say it could not be done. The pivot points of the stock seat are molded into the bottom of the seat and are wider than the AM129773 seat suspension.

Any modifications required to the existing mounts/rails on the 2210 to adapt the X series suspension?

If the 2210 seat is wider than the X suspension, I would guess that would be an easier problem to solve than if it were narrower.

I had to replace the 2 rear bolts with longer ones. This is because the platform of the XSeries is sloped & the platform on the 2210 is close to level. So the longer rear bolts allow the new suspension to be leveled. Also you have to drill new mounting holes in the new platform. This is because the the 2210 rails are spaced 5" apart & the XSeries rails are spaced 8" apart. The bolts are difficult to remove from the rails without damaging the rails. They are pressed into the openings. I cut the bolts off just above the rails & ground them down until they would come out.
