I Learned something today about weight

Yep, loaded with Rimguard and dished to the full width. Still need weight on the 3ph using a loader no matter what (at least that's my story, and I'm sticking with it!)
The loaded rears will help keep the rear end on the ground, but that doesn't lower the weight on the front axle. Only the 3PH ballast will lower the weight on the front axle, moving it to the rear axle, when lifting a load.

Yeah I learned real quick I like to have the bush hog attached to the 3 point if I am going to be operating large weight in the bucket. Moving small square bales of hay it does not matter. A bucket full of the highly clay soil I have on the other hand...

I have a 2538 with loaded rears. 3pt arm bent, or more accurately, I bent it, so had to run around without anything on the rear for a few days. Jeez Louise what a crappy couple of days.

Except when I need PTO this never comes off, filled with steel, about 700 Lbs.
