The last couple years are the worst. Seems like it'll never happen. Then once you retire you can't get the time to slow down!!!!

I'm 65 and still having too much fun to consider retiring. Of course I work for the man, been self employed or contractor most of my life, makes a difference.

Actually I have no plans to "retire". I love doing what most people consider work, building, fixing thins, etc. But after 41 years in an oil refinery where you can go from plans for a great week-end to working 7 days a week 10 - 12 hours a day in the blink of an eye, when a chance came to get paid NOT to go there came along, I grabbed it! I am hoping to find a well tender job. Out in the woods, by myself tinkering with oil and gas wells sounds wonderful to me.
