Does anyone have the I-Match system? What problems does it solve and is it worth the $.
Thanks.

I have the TSC version made by Speedco, same operation as I-Match. If you change three point attachments offend, then it is the best thing since sliced bread. Once you either buy attachments that work with a quick hitch or convert your existing ones to work with it - there is no reason why you can't change attachments in under 2 minutes and that includes disconnecting and then reconnecting a pto shaft. In landscaping, you have to be able to change implements fast. The Deere loaders with the quick change bucket feature is a must to compete with skid loaders. The benefit of being able to change rear implements without a pto shaft from the seat of the tractor is excellent. The safest place on a tractor when changing implements is in the seat, and the quick hitch is just the ticket. It takes a little thinking to set up your attachments for it, but in the long run it sure beats trying to wrestle them into place for the lift arms and pins to line up. I've seen a lot of people get their hand pinched or worse when standing between the tractor and an attachment while the tractor is running and at the same time reaching to operate the three point or other hydraulics to attach an implement.

I have the Imatch on my 4010 and use it quite often. I only have a ballast box thus far but I take it on and off quite often. I switch between my MMM and my FEL, one requires the ballast box the other doesn't. It takes me about 30 sec to get it hooked up. I say it is worth the $$$

Tomorrow I am heading to the welder to get my carry-all circumcised with the torch to fit the I-match. Now that I have the ballast box, I need to be able to quickly interchange with the carry-all to haul firewood to the house. Today I had to take off the FEL and put on the snow plow (wasn't really necessary with 2" of wet snow, but dear wife is having the bridge ladies in tomorrow night, and I thought it best they not have to slide up and down the drive). So the bucket is not readily available for firewood, and that leaves the carry-all.

The pic is with the ballast part way off to show the top hook (which needs to have the mating part fabricated on the carry-all) to the welder.

I bought it with the ballast box and some other things, and off hand, do not remember. Seems in the vicinity of $300. Will look it up when I get to those files.

beenthere,
If its not to much trouble could you post another pic of that I-Match quick hitch, maybe the lower end. I do believe I could build myself one if I can get a better look at it. I don't think the local JD dealer would like it to much if I showed up to take measurements and pictures. They're kind of funny that way :)
Thanks

I borrowed an I-match from my dealer to leave at the welders so the carry-all could be custom fit to the correct size, and happened to have it home tonight before taking it back tomorrow. I will attach a picture.

Would those using an I-Match say it pretty much eliminates the need for the telescoping link option?

Or would that still be helpful (or I guess vice-versa is there some kind of conflict/interference between using both?)
