Last night I made two replies to the post in the Chinese forum about radiator leaking into oil. This morning I went to check the post and found that neither of my original replies were listed, although another poster made reference to one of the replies that I made concerning gear drive water pumps. Where did my replies go? I know I am getting a little old, but I know I made those replies (I think). /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

If you look at post for last 24 hours. Your posts are there. But when they are clicked on a message There was a problem looking up the post in our database shows up. It looks like a group of the post was deleted. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Ron,

I felt the same way. I was following up on the post to see what others had suggested and noticed my post didn't exist anymore, but that it was a whole new topic that I'd been removed from.

I feel so unwanted. hahaha /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ron (and Eddie),

This might be one of those Gotcha's we all run into now and again! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I believe the thread that you're referring to was removed because it was a duplicate of a thread in the Chinese Tractor forum. I did not remove it, but I think that's what happened.

Unfortunately, when we remove a thread for whatever reason, all replies go along with it. Normally, I, and I believe the other moderators, will always try to send a private message to the posters just to let them know what happened to their posts. In this instance, there were about 15 or 16 replies to the original post, so I'm guessing that no messages were sent because of the quantity involved.

So take heart. You did make those replies. You did remember what forum they were in. And you're not getting old....well.....that old anyway! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

There were two posts for the same subject. I talked to the original poster and he said to leave the post in the chinese tractor forum and remove the other one.
