Need some advice please. I rushed into my Ariens Max Zoom Transaxle Oil change without reading the manual, big mistake.

I removed a plate underneath thinking it was a drain plug and I think but am not sure that I drained all the oil from the internal pump.

The other side I did properly. When I refilled with oil, the side that I messed up now has no drive.

Please can someone who understands this tell me if that is the case and if so, how can I refill the internal pump with oil, I'm thinking turn unit upside down and pour oil into the same plate I removed. But this time I'd rather ask for advice first.

Thanks in advance

Have you tried purging?

Have you tried purging?
The manual walks you through the purging process, at least one of mine does. Basically you have bubbles where you need compressible fluid. You have to manually force the fluid to displace the air. Unlike a FEL or 3 pt where you just work the mechanism max up to max down numerous times, recollecting, you have to play with movement of the axles.

I am in the haying season and busy, but if you can't find that process I'll dig up what I read on mine. Just post back when you have exhausted your ideas.
