Unfortunately, Markham is still not making a toothbar that works with a bolt on cutting edge. ATI makes one that is similar in style to Markham's. It has arms on the side that bolt on through the side of the bucket and it has removable teeth. However, it's $585 not including freight! Ouch!

The local dealer sells a clamp on model without removeable teeth for about $375 but I haven't heard much about this style and I'm worried it just won't hold up.

Does anyone know of any other manufacturers that buid a similar product to Markham and ATI for less money? If not, I'll pony up and buy the ATI but then my grapple purchase will be delayed.

When I get the tooth bar, I'm going to dig around for that pot of gold that should be somewhere on my land.

Here's a photo of my Woods Tooth bar, very heavy duty, fit great, easy on and off and available from many local dealers ( I'm about twenty miles from you) a few more $$$ than Markham bot not that much.

Hi Casco. Good to see another MA guy on TBN. I think our numbers are growing. Where are you out east?

That Woods bar looks pretty good. Are the teeth replaceable?

I checked two dealers close to me, Toreku and Chappell and neither of them mentioned the Woods. I know they both sell Woods equipment too. I have a list of questions for you if you don't mind:

Do you have a model number so I can see if my dealers can get it?
Where'd you end up picking yours up?
Do you mind telling me what you paid?

I appreciate the info.

I'll have to look it up, although I think it just goes by size

Where'd you end up picking yours up?

Wescott and sons Gorham ME I bought my tractor at Chappell but found Wescott much easier to deal with.

Do you mind telling me what you paid? I don't remember exactly I think about

$ 435.

Thanks for the info.

I lived in Lowell for a few years on the corner of Westford Street and Pine Street. I restored a big old Victorian right on that corner. I like being out in Pepperell but I do really miss Lowell.

Where'd you manage to find four acres in the city?
