Red, blue, orange, green...did I miss any?
I have researched Kioti for the past two years and I like what I have seen. There is a market for them thats for sure. I am ready to buy now but so far I have had a couple of strikes with dealers in my area. Two out of the three did not respond to my quote request and one dealership answered the phone like this: "what is a DK45s?...oh wait that is a tractor right, let me get you to Glen" and transfered me to a answering machine... that was 5 days ago and I have not heard back yet.
Oh well I need a tractor so I will keep begging someone here to sell me one. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I recommend you call depratt. If I wasn't thousands of miles away I would have bought from him. He is active on this forum.

I used the Kioti website to find the close dealers. I ended up buying from one and have been happy.

There seems to be very few if any long term Kioti dealers since the brand is pretty new. The dealers I have found have all been very helpful and exceited about these tractors.

I had the same situation when I wanted to buy a Kioti. The local dealer was really high, and only had one tractor on the lot. Ended up buying from Little Tractor in Metropolis IL. Go to Littletractor.com. They have a toll free number. He is the largest and should give the best price. If you are worried about service, PM me and I will let you know what James did for me. Heck of a guy, honest and knows his product line. I am not too far from Central WI. Our family ended up buying 5 tractors from James and I would highly recommend him.

Not sure what you mean when you say they didn't respond to your quote request? If you sent an E Mail, I doubt any will send you that info. Dealers can get very busy and often have anoyone available answer the phones. Just because they didn't know what a DK45 was is not a knock on the company. (The accountant or kid hired to wash the tractors could have answered the phone) Call back and ask for sales person. DePratt Equipment sounds like a GREAT contact if he is in your area. Very good on this board. I would definately go to them first!!
Good luck and keep trying. Your dealership is SOOOOOO IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of my email price requests were answered with very good prices very promptly. I looked locally and then half way across the country since some brands of tractors have huge price differences by region. Might be worth the drive.

So, what dealer did you decide to go with on the purchase?

I am purchacing from Jon DePratt. He has contacted me several times, fair price, and I like the fact that he is active on TBN. So far so good. I am very excited hopefully next week I will have it at the farm!
I should also note that Little Tractor in Metropolis IL was very courtious also and did respond promptly to my inquiries. I feel privileged that we have so many choices...there are many great dealers on TBN.
Unfortionatly, I recieved poor local customer service basicly everywhere I tried. Localy the Mahindra dealer was the only one willing to return any calls or get up and show me what is in stock. I am confident I made the right choice. I wake up every morning with a smile and I am very excited.
I do however feel like I am cheating on my old ford 8n /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I hope "she" will understand! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
