I need a rear view mirror.

Personally I think the 6" to 8" convex mirrors found in most truck stops like TA (Travel America) for example are the ticket. Seems the convex mirrors don't amplify the vibration as much as a flat mirror. Attached are some picks of my Mirrors attached to the fiberglass canopy of my Jinma 354.

I like them so much I later added a set to my Dozer.....
The closer you put them to you, the less you see yourself in the reflection.

Those look like just what I need - now all I need is a truck stop down here.

I'll have to look online, I guess.

Thats exactly the setup I need. I bought a "clip on" wide rear view mirror, that isnt going to work on the tractor, but worked fine on my car.

I checked if there was a TA or Travel America website, there was not.

I go up an down I-75 a lot, I know theres a few truck stops in the georgia portion. Perhaps I will try there.

Did that mount come with your mirror or did you fashion that yourself? Application looks very good to me.

The mirrors came with those "L" brackets you might have noticed. I added rubber grommets between both sides of the "L" bracket for vibration dampening and to absorb the "occasional" scraping up against tree branches. I haven't had any issues with vibration, the image is very steady even on my dozer where I did not use the rubber grommets.

So I went to the net, entered 8" convex mirror and up comes Amazon with the identical mirror you have...with the L bracket....!!!

And only $12 with free shipping too. This is good.

Funny I was thinking bikes, golf carts, not tractor trailer stuff. I intend to install only one on the exhaust stack side, cause I have to mow right up next to orange trees.

Thanks for making me think that way. I will order one and post a pic of my installation.
