I need a suggestion on what model Yanmar I should

Sorry haven't heard of this one. Does He recondition his tractors or are they purchased already reconditioned? How many hours on the 1610D your considering? Is the Koyker model a 80 or 110? $6500. is an awfully good price for a 1610D with new Koyker FEL. The condition of the tractor is, of course, the main concern.

He said it work be in good running condition.I didn't ask anything else. He also did not state which model loader bucket , he just said a new Koyker. I found his name, address and phone # at ( www.Best-Used-Tractors.com ) when I searched for dealers close to me.
He also give me a price of $5300.00 on a YM 1500D w/ new Koyker loader.

I am looking at what Yanmar model to buy also. I live in TN and a local dealer has two 1610D tractors listed at $4300 each. I talked to him a couple of weeks ago and he quoted $2300 for a Koyker loader installed. That is about the same as the price you mentioned. Having said all that. I have seen Len's name show up on several websites and he sure seems to be a top notch guy. Paying a little more from him might be worth it.

Might you be referring to Tullahoma Tractor in Tennessee? I purchased my 1510D from them and have been very pleased with it. They have quite a good selection of tractors and were nice folk to deal with. Used tractors vary a bit in condition, so it's a good idea to spend some time exercising each one you are considering before making your choice, to discover which "fits" best, and best meets your needs.

Be sure and check the condition of the front axle fluid and for seal leaks on any 4WD tractor. If it looks like thick chocolate, it has water in it and you may need a rebuild if the bearings and seals are damaged. Seems like a common problem as they must use or let them sit in water in Japan.

I got a package deal 1610D, new koyker FEL installed, new bush hog, new box blade, and a trailer for $7500 but had to rebuild seals on the front axle ($150 or so parts plus my labor), tie the battery down, and replace some hoses and fastners.

Ridgetop, Yes it is Tullahoma Tractor. They do have a lot of tractors to choose from. Do you live near Tullahoma? I am replacing my 8N and am trying to decide if I want to go with a 2500/2610/3000/3110 to use the 5 ft bush hog I have or go with a smaller 4WD tractor and switch to a 4 ft hog. Any ideas?

I also think the 1610d might be about right. I've got one as well as a 1300d that I use on 4 acres of hilly land. Would recommend the 1610d in general and especially for the snow. The shuttle shift is great! If you've got a little land to play on any of the Yanmars will serve you well compared to a lawn tractor: you can do fence post holes, rearrange a little land with a box scraper, move gravel around, chip your fallen branches and so forth.
