I recently bought my first tractor. I know absolutely nothing about tractors and therefore need the help from the more experienced tractor owners, especially those of you who own an Agracat tractor. When my husband and I first backed the tractor off the trailer we ran out of fuel. Someone suggested air was probably in the fuel line which is preventing the tractor from starting. I have been unable to locate a manual which shows a diagram of where the fuel lines are and how to bleed the air from the lines. Can someone please provide me with your expertise on how to locate the lines and bleed the air from them? Pictures of the fuel system is certainly helpful, if anyone has them. Thank you in advance. brown2011:confused::eek:

One thing that works for me often on diesel, is to loosen the fuel line closed to the ignition point and try starting it. It will not start, but will push out the air in the line till a solid flow of fuel. Once you see a solid stream tighten the connection and start again. She should fire right up.

Hi Cat_Driver! Thanks for your help. We found the fuel pump and loosened the screws on it to let the air out. She fired right up afterwards. Thanks again until my next catastrophe. brown2011
