I need some help

OK, our trip is on for the first 2 weeks in April. It will be Vickie and I, and another couple. We pull a 33' 5th wheel and they pull a 29' TT. We want to see the area of TX from just S of I-20 from LA to maybe just W of Dallas. Probally not even go into big D, just cause I'm an old country boy skeerd of big cities. We have been to the Hill Country several times and although we love it we want to see some other places. I have a couple ideas, but thought I would post new, so they would all be in one place. We want to see the Tyler/Longview/Kilgore area, so load me up with info on stuff we will want to see. I know some of the smaller towns have little museums to show off their towns and they are neat places, so if yours has something you want to show off let me know.
We want to spend a week there and then N to OK. From TX N. to maybe just N. of I-40 and from OK City to the Ark line. The Runestone will probably be a stop, so give me some more. We went to the OK City Mem. and to the Cowboy Hall of Fame or whatever the name is, but didn't see any of the River walk or whatever the name of that is. Any other stuff we need to see? fill this up with suggestions and we will apperciate it Thanks , Later, Nat
