Thanks for your valuable advise and input. Which NH, will give me a cab, HST, and max lifting power ( around 2500 -3k)
Or, am I dreaming here, and it doesn’t exist.
I may blow off the need for the HST for the trencher and just rent a trencher when needed, because lifting, bucket height, can and NH are the hot buttons.

Also is there a site that one could “blue book” a used tractor??

Kendall69...the biggest NH hydro tractor you can get with a cab is TC45DA with a newly designed 250TL loader that will lift up to 2000lbs. The next step would be a TC55DA EHSS which is gear but the transmission in electro hydrualic shuttle with a lever below the steering wheel on the left side that allows you to shift from forward to reverse without using the clutch. There is currently no cab for this tractor made by anyone but NH is coming out with one this fall for this tractor, which by then, will have a new model designation...more on that later. To get the lift and height you need, you will probably have to step up to the TN or TD series. Both have cabs available and the loaders lift well into the 3000+ range. I guess it depends on what you want to spend. As far as valuating your tractor, you can look on Used Tractors at TractorHouse.com: John Deere Tractors, used farm tractors and farm equipment, Case IH, New Holland, Agco, Caterpillar. and just type in your make and model. It will display the current auction results and for sale prices. Typically a dealer will be somewhere within that range. You will have to look at each listing though and see which tractors are equipped like yours to get a good idea on what you should expect. It might also help to narrow it down to your state as trade-in pricing varys across the country and type of agriculture. Hope this helps. THis is the tractor you need...check it out on our site...Equipment Information Sheet: NEW HOLLAND TN75DA

The poeple here are great they are giving you some good info.As for me i had a tc40d with a 16la loader i bought it new at the end of 02'The tractor did a great job for me .When i decided to trade up i bought a tc 55d ehss 270tl loader i dont have many hours on it yet but so far it seems to be what i bargined for .The ehss transmission is great but i know im going to miss the easy use of the hydro in certian situations .All that being said NH has always kept there end of the warantee and small fixes up and i would recomend these tractors and would buy one again. My family has always stuck to Ford NH products and day after day they took care of our needs.

I'll start off by stating I have no experience with tractors with cabs. I would make sure (get something in wrting) that the a/c will work in those 120 degree temps. I recall a thread in the Kabota forums of a 5030 with cab and a/c that was not effective at temps that were much lower than what you are going to be working in. Bill C

billfires, I think what some mfg’s do is say the air conditioner will cool down 30 degrees below outside ambient temps.

I know I bought a new Excursion when they came out and had it in the dealer three times because the temp coming out of the vent was 80 degrees, sitting in their lot AFTER being supposedly fixed. The service manager said, spec on the truck was 30 below outside temp and you guessed it - it was, 110 outside, so it was perfect. I drove it across the street and picked up a GMC, and the temps coming out were 45 dergree’s.

Deere guarantee‘s 30 below outside temps, not great but I’ll take it. I don’t figure these will cool like a vehicle, but for my purposes anything will do.

I like that “get it in writing“ thing, but when it comes to them signing it, they will tell me to pound salt I’m sure.

Thirty degrees below outside temps sounds pretty good to me. If it's 90 outside your cab would be 60, that would be down right chilly.

Oleozz, in the summer here, if it ever gets down to 90, we all put on our parkas.:)

I’m planning on getting a 3PH trencher ( Bradco), they say I need HST for the trencher.

I'm just guessing here, but their call for HST is probably due to the need for very slow ground speed while trenching, similar to needs when using a tiller.
I would think a geared tractor with creeper gears would do just as well. Might be worthwhile to check on this, as you'll find few or no utility tractors available with HST but most available with creeper gears, and it sounds like you need a utility tractor based on your FEL lift needs.

I’m thinking now on nixing the trencher as that will not be used as often as all the other things. A guy called on Friday and said he had a 4x4 walk behind trencher ( Baretto) for 3k, the trencher attachment was 6k.
thick, soupy beach sand that I have, we’ll see. Also I will see if I can talk to Bradco.

Heading to the HUGE AG/tractor show in Northern Cal, hopefully I can see most if not all of the players and touch and feel them all in one sweep.

I better leave my check book at home, to let me cool off and not make a bad decision.
