Taian Dongyue Carrying Machinery Co., Ltd. - Multifunctional Wheel Loader

Looks like a copy of the Avant/Multione. The quote for the 50HP model, DY1150, is $19,500. Telescoping boom, Kubota/Perkins engine, rear hydraulics with 3-point hitch option, etc... Very cool. I wonder if one of the Chinese tractor dealers could help me import one.

I think you will find that it would be easier to import an entire container load of them. Nobody buys just one of anything from China :|

or the Avanti ..... Compact Loaders: AVANT Tecno USA

Both are from Europe but available in the US. I think Power-Trac has some competitors.....at least if price is no object. They seem to be well built from the info on the sights. Load ratings are similar for similar sizes.

Both have some really cool attachments. There might be possibilities in adapting them to our machines.

The big differences between these and the PT seems to be a) plastic shrouding, b) the height of the machines, and c) the extending boom of the Avanti. I would be a bit afraid of rolling either of these machines on the hills of in my yard as both sit higher than the PT. Sizes are comparable.

Anyway I found it interesting.

Just ordered 254 tele Giant Compact Loader. Very similar to these but made of metal instead of plastic.

Interesting piece of equipment. I love the telescoping boom and ability to have a rear implement.

Closest thing I've seen in the USA is XFaxmans Bobcat.

Avant clones? Having looked closely at Avants a couple years ago at the OPE Expo, I would have two concerns for my use:

1. Wheelbase and track. They're relatively narrow with a very short wheelbase. Would be very tippy on slopes.
2. Weight, pure and simple. They weigh about twice as much as a comparable Power Trac when it comes to engine and attachment size. Likely would work well for industrial/commercial use, but not homeowner property maintenance, especially on slopes.

That said, I do like the availability of Perkins and Kubota engines, in addition to rear 3-point hitch and hydraulic PTO circuit.

Nice. Even their small one (DY620) has the option for a Perkins diesel in it (std equipment is Chinese Changchai 3M78... I am sure that is almost as good as a Kubota or Perkins).

They even have a quick attach plate on the front. I wonder how much their attachments run... and what the shipping costs... warranty repair wouldn't be any different than PT.... except their "Terry" probably doesn't speak english.

Minimum order quantity is 1 unit. Go ahead and give it a spin... what else are you going to spend that $20k on.

At 2450 lbs for the DY620, and 4430 for the DY1150, it definitely has a lot of steel in it, not much plastic.

Bet neither of them would do a great job of brush cutting my pasture.

The new EPA tier 4 diesel emission regs are very tough / expensive for Chinese manufacturers to meet... it's the biggest reason you don't see a lot more of this type equipment being imported. I suspect these machines aren't EPA certified, which would make importing one a very risky proposition.
