Thanks to the posts a couple of years earlier on this forum, I rebuilt my Roosa Master JCB pump on my 2270 JD Swather. It has the same engine as the JD 2440 tractor and the same style pump as the 3010 and 4010 & 4020 series tractors. Total cost was less than $75 with the installation of a solid governor plate. If I would have used the poly governor ring in the gasket set, It would have been only $25.. It is not all that hard. the rebuilders manual is available online at scribd.com I have wanted to be able to do this for over 45 years. If I had only know how easy it is...........:thumbsup:
