I saw a demo of a 7308 FEL detaching

I went and looked at a NH 7308 loader yesterday and the dealer did a demo of taking it off (a TC30). It was pretty slick. He flipped a lever on the brackets right in front of the pedals on each side. Then, he started the tractor and used the hydraulics of the FEL to lift the rear part of the loader up off the tractor brackets. Then, he backed up. As he backed up, the bracket going from the rear of the loader to the front of it started flipping down and became the stand to hold the loader up. I took pictures, but haven't had time to download them yet, so they're on the way.

Danny, did he complete the demo by putting it back on? I ask because getting lined back up can be fun and it's better to have a fixed object in front of the bucket since it can move forward. I assume he did this demo on a flat, hard surface and you have a similar place to do this?

Mike - He did the demo in their shop on a concrete (very smooth) floor. When he put it back on, he had trouble with it sliding forward. He had to put some weight in it to keep it in place. I plan to store mine on a concrete floor also. Now I know that, if I get one (still debating between the NH 7308, Woods 1012, and Great Bend 2130), I'll have to have it right up against a wall to keep it from sliding, so I'll plan for that when I build my pole barn.
