Tractors can be extremely expensive, but with our new ten acres we needed one. I just ordered a Mitsubishi 2040 with a 48" loader, 12" backhoe and a box grader for $12,500. It has about 600 hours on it and seems to be in excellent shape. Does anyone have comments or opinions about this model? The work to be done is primarily moving dirt/snow, landscaping our new property and tilling a garden.

Thank you,
Marcus

Marcus, I'm not familiar with a 2040 but I have a D-2050 and so far have been very pleased with it. It seems to be a solid dependable machine. I've got a 4' International Machine BB and a 4' International brush cutter for it. Haven't had the occasion to use the brush cutter yet but I have used the BB and it works great! The only con I have found so far is that it is awkward to get on/off with my size 10 boots. Good luck with your new tractor! daveh1 D-2050 & Honda Rancher "better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it!" /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
