ok, now I have a real tractor :) ...the Massey came with the house
we bought in September...9 acres, log home, 30x60 horse barn (5 stall)
30x60 car barn with a lift, landscape barn for the new B3030 and a
lil Cub Cadet for mowing, paddocks, and an outdoor ring

We use the tractor for bringing the horsepoop out to the woods,
snowblowing with a Woods SS52, and I'll be clearing some of our
land that's in trees right now, maybe make more paddocks in the spring.

The big guy in the pics is not me, it is the delivery guy, and the
beauty is my lovely wife :) ...and the bucket closeup is of the
three hooks the dealer welded on for me....does it for everyone,
that and a block heater, and free delivery and pickup for service
and free loaner if they need to take it away....Townline in Plainfield, NH

I'll be asking lots of questions of youse guys, as Im a tractornovice

have a great day!

Howdy neighbor ... careful .. some 2300 owners may take offense to that! ... Please fill out your public profile. Then post a bunch of pictures of your sports cars (I heard that over 40% of SCCA members do NOT even own cars) ...

Just curious, was the trade in mandatory? That Massey would make a great mowing platform. 2 Diesels are definetly better than one!

And you can lose the chains ... snow in New England has been cancelled due to a lack of interest for the foreseable future...

Welcome to TBN ...

So, you gave up the Massy and your wife has the '30, what's left for you?

It looks good at your place, did you compare Townline with the other New Hampshire dealers?

Thanks!....but the 2300 is a great machine....didn't mean to slight it, just
thought the 52" snowblower was a little too much for it, and I wanted a
bit bigger tractor to do clearing in the spring.

I changed my avatar....didnt see how to post pics in the profile...my friend
Bob and I have a two car RX7 team in the ITS class

My daughters are bummed about the Global warming affecting their skiing,
but if that means less shoveling and snowblowing, I am not sure I mind at
all....and I hope to never use the chains, but I know that if I didnt have
them I'd need them :)

The Massey had 330 hrs and they gave me $9k trade in, so it really
was necessary from an economic standpoint, but since my wife has
turned most of the lawn into grazing area, my lawnmowers are self
propelled and automatic (but you have to shovel up after them :) )

Didn't talk with MB, Townline was the same net price as Chappell, but
two friends strongly suggested Townline as they had good service,
and the free block heater, bucket hooks, and promise of a free loaner
were all it took for me to decide.

Congrats on the new machine SCCA14, you'll love it. I bought one in June and couldn't help but wonder why I waited so long to get it. The delivery guy looks like quite the ham, appears you made his day by taking his picture.
