I want to add a power outlet on a T1510....

I have a T1510 that I would like to add a power outlet on. Has anyone done this, or know of a good source for one? I have a spotlight, and a beacon that I would like to use occasionally. Thanks!

There are two worklight options for your tractor. One is mounted on the right fender and the other up on the ROPS. Both have pigtail wiring harnesses that must connect into an existing harness on your tractor. I'd look behind the operator's seat for an unused connector and test it for power with a voltmeter. The connection might be near your existing lights also. You can probably use that connector or splice in power to your outlet from those wires as long as you don't exceed the current rating of the associated fuse.

I have the ROPS mounted work light, and it works great. I would like to add a "cigarette style" power outlet in the dash, for a corded spotlight, and a yellow beacon, for snowplowing. I had one on my old TZ25, and used it quite often. Since my last post, I found what I am looking for at my local NAPA. Now, just have to "correctly" wire it in. was curious if anyone has done this to a T1510-20 or TC30???

I would start with the owners manual if you have access to oone. My TC40DA manual states fuse #6 (10 amp) is for the hazard flashing lights and aux power socket. #7 (15 amp) is for the front headlights and aux rear work lights.

I do, and I will. I've bought a power outlet from Napa, and have briefly looked things over... but with a high of 12 degrees for this weekend, this project may be pushed back just a few weeks. I know, I know, I'm a baby... but no heat in the barn

I added one on my TC18 by running a wire from the starter solenoid battery lead post to the power outlet using a 30A inline fuseholder. If your load is smaller, you can always use a smaller fuse.

I was going to run a 10 amp fuse? I thought this would be more than plenty for a spotlight, or a rotating beacon. I will check the spotlight's rating to make sure. Thanks for the note.
