I want to build a plug aerator... any one done it

I was thinking about using a 100 lb propane tank. I'd fill the tank with water as needed. Can't figure out a bearing / axle system though. Any ideas?

A drum type like that will really tear up the yard if you turn at all. I tinkered with the idea of building a core aerator but ended up figguring once I buy the tines, I'm better off buying a used one. That's what I ended up doing.
