I wonder why?

Some people get attention any way they can. If they don't personally have anything of interest, then they will use someone elses interesting material. In this case, it is quite clear that forum participation might be limited on account of language.

I reported it yesterday for suspicion of spamming a you tube channel.

Maybe the admin did not agree. Maybe he is for real.

Although posting video links across all subforums is a strange way to hello.

Thats what I thought. Which is why I chalked it up to a massive spam attack of useless information. I come here to enjoy reading. I dont enjoy having to hunt for relevant posts by someone other than the video-poster. Which I why I abandoned coming here yesterday hoping that by today these posts would either be removed, or at least not clogging up the front page.

Plus he is using videos on his channel from other channels without their permission, I'm sure.

Easy way to make money from ads, right?

Absolutely spammer behavior. I am a mod on another forum and we see the same things. New members aren't allowed to post links until they have a certain number of posts (usually 5 or so). So they will join and then make meaningless replies to assorted threads until their post count gets high enough. And then they go nuts posting stuff that links back to their site or channel.

I reported a few of these but I guess the mods here aren't recognizing the pattern or they don't care. If this guy was here with genuine purposes, I can guarantee he wouldn't be operating like this. Nobody follows this modus operandi but a spammer.

I found the post confusing when I first read what was posted but also had the option to post or not post and whether to keep reading or not and just move on. To me it was not a thread that interested me and caught me off guard when I realized had opened it up just now but did it into the conversation and did not realize the topic. To me best way to handle spammers on the phone, email or in posting is to ignore them. But we have given this a good bit of attention so wonder if a true spammer how they hurts or benefits him.

At same time have no doubt if he is what he said he is his communication here or with language he may be very limited it would be at least culturally different. I notice a difference in videos on you tube just how different the prescriptive of the video itself is. Find the tractor pulls in think India make no sense the way machine and people are not valued but they seem to find it normal.
no idea
I found the original post and video to be of no interest to me or value but there are many with no video here I find the same way..how often is the same simple question asked over and over and over like home many things can be said about flail mowers? Then I have to think...newbie no idea how to find what they are asking and remember doing same myself.

If by "he" you are talking about me, I'll explain

This is a forum....for discussion about many topics, people needing advise, help, etc. Categorized in different topics.

When you post a massive amount of useless videos all in a row....it clogs up everything useful I am on here to read.

A single video or two that you find interesting.....thats fine. But 40-50 of them all in a row? Makes one question just what your motives are? And what you hope to accomplish. If I want to watch 40-50 videos about tractors and equipment....I'll just get on you-tube myself.

So it begs the question that you still have failed to answer......just what is the point of posting a massive amount of videos, without any questions or dialogue associated?

I'm sorry, you're right about that. I won't make a mistake like that again. I didn't think at first.
