I broke cardinal rule #1, always keep your fuel tank filled /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I didnt have the tank filled on my MF 1040 diesel.

I had to get towed by my neighbors 85hp fwd JD on saturday. The tractor died out in the road, looked at the glass bail under the fuel tank, uh oh, filled with ice /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Took the bail off and used a paper clip stuck up into the tank to establish fuel flow. Got her started only to have it die again. This time I took off the inline fuel filter, more ice. Bought a new filter, installed, got it started again. Then it died again /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Got it towed back to the barn, filled the tank, I think I will wait for spring! I put some diesel fuel stabilizer in there also. It wasnt a fun day, anyone have problems like this???
