Hey, Thomas. Good to bump into you again.

More than twice. 1750 to an L3010, then an L4610, then a B3030 (way too small) then back up to an L3240 which is just about right now that I have a mini-ex :)

Power came back on after about six hours. Snow depth, well - the weather has been so crazy the last three years it's hard to figure out what normal is anymore! My dogs are sensational, thanks! I think every dog who has come into my life has made me better equipped to make the life of those who follow even better. And of course they give it back in spades!

Nice pictures!

We had snow and a week of rain since. Fortunately the temp has spent a lot of time just above 0C.:)

Back in 1968 I got to drive through one of those ice storms. Car was a solid sheet of ice about 1/2 in. thick. Wet sleet and six inches of slush on the road farther west.:)

Wow, great to see you 'old timers' all in one thread! :cool2: Too bad it's a thread about an ice storm.

Hi Mike! Nuther old fart. :)

The house came thru just fine, though there is a large split sugar maple on the uphill side that looks like one trunk is ready to fall. Of course it's the side facing the house; I'll cable it so if it goes it will only be a glancing blow.

The apple trees still had fruit, so lost a few branches

But the most damage came from heavy branches in the pines of our windbreak shearing off and crashing onto the garage roof

Sorry you caught some damage from that, hope it's an easy fix. Hard to tell from the picture. Besides, I'm being distracted from the ice part by your beautiful place and gorgeous dogs. And wait, is that a mini-ex way in the back? Now I'm truly jealous.
