I'm new to old Fergies and bought what I thought was a 35X. The seller also thought it was a 35X due to the large stickers running down each side of the bonnet. The local tractor workshop says it's much older, perhaps a 24.

He also pointed out the extra hydraulic accessory fitted to the right hand side.
It looks factory fit. There is an additional lever by the seat to operate it.
We guessed it might have been hydraulic lift for a mid mount sickle mower.

Can anyone correctly identify the model tractor and shed any light on what the extra accessory might be.

The mechanic liked the novel approach to recycling the original fuel tank into a tool box.

Thank you. Shane

It's definetley not a MF-35 or a TO-35. they had dual shift levers.

It looks like a TEA-20 to me. it looks like it has the Standard engine. I see the radius arms are pretty well bowed. It might have had a front blade on it at one time.
The TE/TO20's and 30's used the gear shift lever to start. Ithink the hydraulics is non-OEM. You'll most likely have to chain the lift arms down to use the auxilliary cylinder. is there a number on the nameplate above the steering whee?. It should read somethig like TEA-ABCDEF.
