Has anyone seen or thought about having a serrated edge (front of back) on the ripper tooth? This way when you get to a big root that can't just be pulled out, you place the cutting edge along the root and push down with the full weight of the machine a few times, cutting the root. You wouldn't have to cut all the way through, just enough that the backhoe would break the root. Imagine a big sawzall blade on a backhoe.
I used an axe yesterday and that gets old... I'm taking my cordless sawzall today but that still requires getting off the machine to use it.
