I recently moved a NH326 from NC to TN. Roading, in my view, esp from WI to TN, is going to be unpleasant at best. While the wheel bearings might hold up just fine they also might not. Youd need to be ready for that contingency. Most offset balers arent narrow, mine is right at 10'. So, missing things close to the edge of the road would require constant attention as would keeping the baler out of the on coming lane. Youll also not want to travel above the recommended road speed making the trip very long. You may also have to deal w/ the local police who might not be happy about some aspect of what youre doing....so you have to know the laws for each state you drive thru. If you get it trucked you may need an oversize permit (for each state it passes thru) depending on how its packed. Mine went on the axles w/ a tire removed (an oversize load). However, I had a dealer in NJ suggest it be put into an old packing crate and shipped on edge (like new ones are). If you go that route I think some amt of the baler needs to be disassembled (no oversize permit but labor to disassemble/reassemble). Also at both ends theres loading/unloading to be considered. My seller did the loading as part of the balers cost. I paid my NH dealer to unload it. Then theres the cost of trucking. I think I paid about $800 between mid-NC to E TN....inc'ed the permits. HTH
