Identify this type of box blade (gill).

It has a hinged rear blade. The scarifirs can all rotate down or up with a handle (needs to be welded).
Did this pre date the "rollovers" that are made today? The scarifir slots all look to be in excellent condition as do the cutting edges on the blades. If (when) I buy this ill have to buy scarifirs, weld on a new lever to operate the scarifirs and it needs a new bolt on the end to replace the hitch pin that is currently holding the scarifir tube to the box. Any idea on the weight (6').

I can't help you with ID on the box blade. However, MtnViewRanch will know.
I pull a 60" X 630 pound Bush Hog (brand) Rollover Box Blade behind my Kubtoa B3300SU, whcih is the same size but 1,000 pounds lighter than your Kioti. Good match of equipment.

Gill was/is a top name in INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH implements......I'd grab that puppy.

I'll guess the weight at 700 pounds. (+/- 10%) Depending on your soil, with that weight you may not need rippers. You may be at max load for your tractor so rippers may stop the tractor, rather than penetrate, anyway.

Woods Equipment bought Gill several years ago. They can still probably provide manuals for it, if they exist.

The box blade with manual or hydraulic ripper operation, probably doesn't predate the rollover box scraper, as Gannon developed their Earthcavator in 1948. Gannon is also now owned by Woods.

All the box blades I'm familiar with that have that kind of ripper operation are the higher weight and better quality implements, regardless of manufacturer.

My Gannon with manual scarifiers weighs in at just over 1000lbs. It works great behind my 35hp New Holland. I think you'll love that Gill.

It's an MF18 scarifier/scraper. Google it and there's even pictures of a brochure and operators manual for sale. They are a good box blade, about 800 lbs depending. Came in 73" and 81" models.

It is a SR 25 , I have the same blade and I love it, it is around 1100 pounds w/scarifiers, and a little better than 6' wide. I made my own retainers for the scarifiers but you can buy whatever you need through Woods.

Looks like it is an SR25. Sure looks similar to an MF18 but has a hinged rear blade.

im helping a young lady sell equipment from here fathers estate.
We have a SR 20 looks in almost the same condition as this one. How do I find a good price for her to sell it at?
