Identify this vintage side discharge rake?

Trying to identify this old rake for sale, looks rough but still turns smooth.
Has an IH sticker on it that looks original, and an IH stamped on a few other parts.
They are asking $400, cheapest rake within about 100 miles from me.

White paint on reel ends indicates IHC although I've never seen that brand rake in 3 pt hitch model

Doing some more looking I think I might have found the model.
Might be an IH McCormick Deering model 12.
Looks like they originally came as a 2pt fast hitch.
No info to be found online about that model except an old ad picture and someone selling the operating manual on ebay.

It's a 3 pt. hitch . look at the top link pin hole in the frame.It's just an old IH rake they last a long time.It must still have pretty good teeth for
400 bucks.

I would say that you have got it figured out.
Per the ad you found they could be purchased as a fast hitch or optional 3 point.
The pto powered rakes weren't very popular around here, mounted or trailing.
Most of the rakes here were trailing ground driven.
