Identifying an old Ford Backhoe

Many years ago I bought an old Ford backhoe as a project. I moved and my place is to hilly to even consider running it. So I want to sell it cheep, but I best ID it to sell it. I post this question here because it is stripped down that it nearly would be a Build it yourself kind of project! No control valves, hoses all rotted, cylinders pitted.

Where would I find the ID name plate?

not a clue in were you would find ID plate. many folks note something about around the transmission area being some sort of name plate. but i don't have enough experience to say one way or another.

get some pictures up here on the forum. and folks more likely able to ID it better.
notation of type of transmission, amount of gears (forward, reverse) 3 or 4 cylinder engine diesel / gas, would most likely help narrow it down even better.

lol woops, i thought ya meant TLB (tractor loader backhoe) and trying to figure out model number of the tractor, not an actual 3pt hitch backhoe!

Document Moved -> english -> parts -> agriculature -> *i forget next click* might let you search by type vs model number. say typing in "backhoe" might bring back a list of part diagrams of different backhoes.
