i have an older Simplicity snowblower model#1691899 that stopped moving, I checked with the cover off and found that the spring had broken off the idle pulley.
I purchased a new spring from the dealer for $9.00 but I can't figure out where to hook it to.
I know one end goes on the idle arm but where does the other end hook up to.
i see a posting that was done a few years ago on the same subject but still having trouble figuring out where it goes.
