Thats probably a Windows domain/network share thing. We have that setup at work. My Documents sits on the server where it gets backed up nightly instead of on the PC where it can get lost if something happens.

yep.. from what i understand. nothing gets saved on the pc's hard drive.. just on the network drive. ( though you can save to a removeable drive.. like a thumb.. and load from a removeable drive ).

they used to have that all locked out and it caused plenty of issues...

Its an emulator. It will emulate whatever Ie you have installed as long its 7 and up. by default it will run in ie 7. There is a right click option you can click and say run in ie 7 or 8 or 9. This will let you run activex, let you render pages in IE mode.
