Have a '97 Ford 1520. Hooked the battery up backwards (don't ask. it was dark and the charged batteries are identical except for reversed terminals.)
Now have no power to the starter. Is there a fusible link in the system and is it accessible without disassembling most of the tractor? Ideas?

Most will have a fuse or a fusible link ... look around the battery terminal at the starter. 'Hope fully' the fuse went before the alternator...KennyV
