using the auger here this week is tough with the ever increasing permafrost.

Although much work has been acomplished and I'm getting more comfortable and hopefully more proficient with operation, I still consider myself immersed in the PT learning curve, including maintenance. At the moment the tractor is down due to need to replace the main suction hose. One by one, I'll get them all! We've cleared a bunch, put in a culvert, trenched some water and electrical lines and such. Looking forward we too will have holes to drill for shed and fence posts. I plan to post a more comprehensive review of the 2445, but not until I have had at least a year in the saddle.

good hearing from you, wish that allot more owners would let us know how they fare with their equipment. due to Charlies generosity and unless we have a major breakdown this coming weekend, we will have some pictures for you all of some of the modifications we have made here in bucks.

Charlie, besides being very busy in his law profession, is helping me solving a major labor problem, by developing a bucket device which will have the ability to scoop mulch etc and meter out materiel to the side of the bucket via a corn drill (an auger like the post hole digger).

that invention will allow to apply the materiel in a targeted, more accelerate fashion without damaging plants and less labor hours loading and unloading a fork/shovel full at the time.

tune in next week for an update and some pictures of a modified leaf plow (Jerco) large leaf and debris blower buggy, debris shield to protect hydraulic hoses up front, lights, mirrors. stroblight and receiver in the rear of the pt425.
