Does anyone here know what the coil winding resistance should be on an international 444 (gas)? I've got a no-spark condition. Need to start checking when I get home. First the starter connections since I just put on a rebuilt starter... make sure the wires are hooked up right to bring 12v to the coil.
But if that's okay, I think I'll have to check the coil. I have an operator's manual and I&T shop manual, but can't find test specs in either. Even knowing a general range would be helpful.
Also, I wonder how many different coils would work in the same tractor. There's not much to them, so why don't they just sell them with a certain windings ratio?
Thanks
