Is it my long legs or is the key position in a poor spot?
I have bumped it getting off tractor and when doing loader work shuting off the tractor?
Im not sure now to deal with this?

LOL, I had the same problem until my key broke off in the ignition.
I then simply used a stubby flat blade screwdriver to turn the switch to on (or preheat).
Upside is I never lost the key.
Downside is (if known) the tractor was easy to 'borrow', but then nobody could guess that the switch was actually live at all times.
My 'key' was to unplug one of the seat satety switch wires therby rendering ignition impossible.

Similar, but not the same, problem with my L3400 Kubota. In my case it is the light switch... constantly turning on the flashers with my left knee...

My knees are always bumping the dash edge especially when I'm plowing snow with a back blade. I need more backward seat travel. The people who build them must be shorter. :)

Same problem here. Now my key is bent from hitting it so much. Also, I wear knee pads for a lot of work that I do, so I get on the tractor with the pads still on, and turn the tractor off often.

Some time back there was a thread about "what do you not like about your Kioti" and the key location was my contribution to that discussion

I own a Bobcat Ct235, same as your Kioti and same key location. I too had trouble with the key location and was continually bumping it. Bobcat suggested getting their "short" key and, this solved the problem.

I'm sure Kioti has these keys, they are about half the size (where you grab and turn) and will for the most part solve your problem.

I agree. the key is in a bad spot on my DK45S too.

Much the same on my 3054; I was forever shutting the electrical circuits off with my right knee(machine has a manual fuel shut off, thankfully). I inserted the key fully in the switch and the put side pressure on the key so as to bend it as close to the switch as possible. I the removed the key, put it in the vise and bent it 90*. It broke, of course, so I cleaned up the break with a small hand file and soldered it. Key now inserts all the way flush to the dash panel and presents no interference with the knee

Just saw the key down so it doesn't stick out so far. Same then as the "short" key.

Or drill a new hole and relocate the ignition switch. ;)

Same as my 45. I have bent the key - didn't break yet - and have turned the engine off more than dozen times.

I am thinking of relocating it after the warranty is up.
